The NRLA is pleased to announce a new partnership with Checkatrade for Business. The partnership will give members access to a professional property maintenance management platform designed to make repair and maintenance works easier and more reliable.
Checkatrade has been a trusted name for 25 years and is widely used by people looking for vetted and verified tradespeople in the United Kingdom. The company now works with more than 100,000 trades across 72 categories nationwide which makes it the largest source of approved contractors in the country.
Checkatrade for Business is the organisation’s dedicated property maintenance management platform. It has been created specifically for landlords, letting agents and property managers who want an efficient way to book and manage repairs and maintenance using the Checkatrade trade network.
The platform brings jobs, approvals, communication and updates into one central dashboard which helps reduce administrative work and improve visibility across properties.
Through this new partnership NRLA members will be able to use Checkatrade for Business free for 12 months. Members can also benefit from up to £1,500 off their first three repair or maintenance jobs.
These benefits are designed to help landlords manage repairs with greater confidence and reduced effort while giving them access to a wide network of trusted trades.
NRLA Chief Executive Ben Beadle said: “Checkatrade is a business which believes in helping good landlords to deliver high quality accommodation to their tenants.
“This partnership means NRLA members can get the best possible quote for maintenance, repairs and upgrades in a quick, efficient manner.
“We welcome the chance to work with Checkatrade and are excited about the benefits this new arrangement provides to our membership.”
Jambu Palaniappan, Chief Executive of Checkatrade, said: “Checkatrade is committed to making home improvements easy and high-quality.
“So we’re delighted to join forces with the NRLA to offer their members low-cost access to our new service dedicated to landlords.
“The initiative will also generate more jobs for the hard-working tradespeople on our platform. We can’t wait to get started.”
